Penstock Equity has announced the initial closing of Penstock Equity II, L.P. Founded by independent sponsors, Penstock Equity is a committed fund with the explicit mandate to invest non-control equity capital exclusively into buyout transactions led by independent sponsors.  Fund I was launched in 2023 and has supported ten independent sponsor-led buyouts. Fund II is a larger fund which will allow for backing an even broader group of independent sponsors.
