Lippes Mathias LLP announced it has served as legal counsel to Artinia Group, an independent sponsor and a lower middle market private equity firm focused on partnering with family-owned and operator-led businesses, in its strategic growth investment in Chesapeake, Virginia-based TMMG, a leading provider of systems engineering and life cycle asset management services to U.S. defense agencies. 

The investment was made in partnership with Gemini Investors and True West Capital Partners. This partnership will strengthen TMMG’s capabilities in naval architecture and marine engineering, weapons systems and integration, test and evaluation, training, logistics, and program management. TMMG's management team will continue to lead the company in its expanded growth pursuits and ongoing mission to support U.S. defense agencies.
