Capitala Announces Sale of Remaining Investment in Nth Degree

CHARLOTTE, NC – October 23, 2024— Capitala Group (“Capitala”) announces the successful sale of its remaining equity investment in Nth Degree, Inc. (“Nth Degree” or the “Company”) to Shamrock Capital.

Capitala partially exited Nth Degree through the majority sale of the business in 2019 and rolled 20% of its equity proceeds into an investment in the recapitalized company.  With the recent sale of Nth Degree, Capitala’s equity position has been fully realized, generating an 85% IRR since the initial investment was made.

“Capitala has supported Nth Degree and its management since 2015. The Company’s partnership with MSouth Equity Partners began in December 2019 and withstood a global pandemic, economic headwinds, and a challenging interest rate cycle,” said Randall Fontes, Managing Director of Capitala. “If it weren’t for an extraordinary management team and support from MSouth Equity Partners, these results would not have been achievable.”

Headquartered in Duluth, GA, Nth Degree is a market-leading provider of exhibit management services and event services to clients across the globe.
